ROAD TO NEW YEARS' EVE by JONATHAN LOWELL

One and three, into week number six,
Only 76 points, gonna need a fix.
Tough opponents sure, leagues no Sgt. Shultz,
Except for the schedule of Manning's Colts.
No Commissioner ever, ever liked our boss,
And no coach likes facin', our savior Moss.
While the media's high, on Sapp in the 4-3,
I need more pain, more inflictions to see.
Defense ranks 29th, in yards per game,
Only 32 teams, a black and silver's shame.
Not that there's no time, to get in the swing,
But leading tackler Kirk, is listed third string.
Ain't saying our Raiders, don't have no phallus,
For they provided hopes, to win on Dallas.
Still that performance, left me a shriek,
When a kicker gets player, player of the week.
At theraidernation site, I saw the Randy Mask,
Now I know why us fans, always carry a flask.
Come this Sunday, when the final gun is sounded,
Powder puff lightning bolts, gonna been grounded.
Then we'll home cook the Bills, shrink the 'Tightens',
AFC West leaders, gonna then feel what frightens.
We'll be one game behind, the Broncos and Chiefs,
Yet those games won't determine, any clear reliefs.
Seven more battles will lie, most not in our yard,
On the road we will shine, won XV as a card.
New Year's eve with Giants, we'll lock up a spot,
Please wait until then, 'for I reveal the next plot.

Black and Silver, beer and mean,
Roughest fans, you've ever seen.
Helmuts and paint, skull and swords,
Kick down even, Sainted Lords.
Tequila, Sambuca, biker girls and rum,
A movie 'Road Warrior', ghosts they're from.
They don't cheer, they force their will,
To Mr. Al's delight, they foot the bill.
Every Halloween party, they win best dressed,
Other fans fear, their so sordid mess.
Scouls and growls, they do deliver,
Broncos and Patriots weep and shiver.
Blanda and Stabler, that Heisman Plunkett,
Long and Allen, who would of thunk it?
Tattoos and Harleys, 'tuck rules' and all,
This gridiron tradition, shall never fall!
Crushing times, Pain without sobs,
A small percentage, actually have jobs.
Pictures in the paper, can't differentiate,
Products of cloning, with all the same fate.
Yes another Super Bowl, will soon be here,
Raider Fanatics, shall know no tear.
